About Adam Chesbrough

Hi, I'm Adam. Go ahead and learn a little bit about me.

So who am I.  I am a twin and the son of the two most wonderful parents any set of twins could ask for.  I grew up outside of Philadelphia and currently operate out of Brooklyn, NY.  Growing up, I ingested a heavy dose of film watching and digested the filmmaking process.  I was was always wondering how they did this and how "they" made it look like that; to put it in cliched terminology, I was and still am an effervescent student of the arts.

Never without a still camera, I didn't get into video until canon released the first consumer HD digital video camera around 2005.  Before this time everything was shot on tape and film.  With tape, 60 minutes of footage took 60 minutes to get onto an underpowered computer; digital cut that time by 75%.  With digital video, creating was able to move at the speed of my mind's eye.  This was a turning point for me.  Working in private equity at the time I purchased what I needed to learn the art of visual storytelling.  Making videos with friends for a couple years I got to a point in 2009 when I competent enough in the technology to quit and move to New York to pursue my passion.

It has been an eventful 8 years.  I have develop a style all my own and have done work for some of the largest brands in the world as well as for some of the smallest.  I produced large scale productions as well as have created videos all on my own.  I have the ability to produce, direct, shoot, and edit.  Excelling in all of those roles makes me special; my ability to uniquely create your story makes me the most proud and is what will bring the most value to your brand.

So who am I?  I am a son, brother, athlete, dog father, traveler, artist that is interested in making your brand grow through the visual arts.  I look forward to speaking with you about your goals and how myself and my team can make them happen.

The industry today

The landscape of visual media changes every day. You look at what your peers are doing and you might think that you need a 3D drone timelapsed animated sequence posted to your snapchat, instagram, pinterest and streamed live on facebook to all ipad, iphones, androids.  Maybe you do and maybe that is ridiculous.  That fact of the matter is that I will examine all of the different avenues to bring your brand to life.
