About Adam Chesbrough
Hi, I'm Adam. Go ahead and learn a little bit about me.
So who am I. I am a twin and the son of the two most wonderful parents any set of twins could ask for. I grew up outside of Philadelphia and as of 2018 am back in Philadelphia (after a 10 year stint operating out of New York City) . Growing up, I ingested film watching and digested the filmmaking process. I was was always wondering how they did this and how "they" made it look like that; I was and still am, an effervescent student of the arts.
Never without a still camera, I didn't get into video until canon released the first consumer HD digital video camera around 2005. Before this time everything was shot on tape and film. With tape, 60 minutes of footage took 60 minutes to get onto an underpowered computer; digital cut that time by 75%. With digital video, creating was able to move at the speed of my mind's eye. This was a turning point for me. Working in private equity at the time I purchased what I needed to learn the art of visual storytelling. Making videos with friends for a couple years I got to a point in 2009 when I was ready to make video production a professional pursuit.
It has been an eventful 9+ years. I have developed a style all my own and have done work for some of the largest brands in the world (Sysco, TD Bank, and Patrón, to 'name drop' a few) as well as for some of the smallest. I create content using a full range of production resources as well as work as a "one-man-band"; however the budget dictates. I have the ability to produce, direct, shoot, and edit. Excelling in all of those roles makes my talents special; my ability to uniquely craft a story makes me the most proud; and combining these two attributes is what makes the content that I produce stand-out amongst the crowd.
So who am I? I am a son, brother, athlete, dog father, traveler, artist that is interested in making your brand grow through the visual arts. I look forward to speaking with you about your goals and how myself and my team can make them happen.
The industry today
The landscape of visual media changes every day. You look at what your peers are doing and you might think that you need a 3D drone timelapsed animated sequence posted to your snapchat, instagram, pinterest and streamed live on facebook to all ipad, iphones, androids. Maybe you do and maybe that is ridiculous. That fact of the matter is that I will examine all of the different avenues to bring your brand to life.
